Materials & Finishes
Materials & Finishes
THE OSMA brings together pieces made in different metals and finishes. Each product page lists the material, finish and dimensions available for that specific piece so you can understand what you are choosing before you order.
925 Sterling Silver
Pieces described as 925 sterling silver are made from sterling silver with a 92.5% silver content. Sterling silver can naturally develop surface oxidation over time; gentle care and proper storage help maintain its appearance.
Stainless Steel
Selected pieces use stainless steel as the base material. The exact finish, plating and dimensions can differ by design, so refer to the individual product page for the details that apply to that piece.
Titanium Steel
Some pieces in the collection use the supplier material designation “titanium steel.” THE OSMA lists that designation only where it appears in the product specification for the piece. It should not be read as a claim that the jewelry is solid titanium.
Gold-Tone & Plated Finishes
“Gold-tone” describes the color or finish of a piece; it does not mean solid gold unless a product page explicitly says so. Where a plated finish is specified, friction, moisture, cosmetics and chemicals can affect the finish over time.
Stones & Pearl Details
Where a product includes zircon, a colored stone or a pearl detail, the product page states the information available for that design. We do not describe a stone or pearl as natural, cultured, precious or lab-grown unless that specification is confirmed for the piece.
Care
Put jewelry on after fragrance, skincare and cosmetics have settled, remove it before swimming or bathing, and store pieces separately in a dry place. For more guidance, see our Jewelry Care page.
If a specific material is important to you, contact THE OSMA before ordering and tell us which piece you are considering.
